Interview || Fashion Talk with Madame

I have to thank Lillie Mae from Sir Magazine for bringing Latina Singer/MC/Producer Madame to my attention. At only 21, lyricist and singer Madame, is the culmination of all that is new, fresh and cutting edge in the music industry.  She has created a special space of music where only she is present, but everyone will soon desire to be. With her unique sense of style & talent, the Dominican beauty has given birth to a truly unique musical paradigm.  With over 100,000 collective Youtube video views, Madame has garnered fans of all demographics. Madame sits down with me to discuss some of her fashion faves, career goals and also shares  her single " Oh Baby" with me.


Arkeedah: How would you describe your personal style?  
Madame: I never keep the same style for a long time or try to match. I just have a eye for things that look good to me at the time. I like Japanese culture so I incorporate that a lot in the way I dress.  Other than that, I am in love with heels dresses and vintage.  I never try to follow crowds because you never know where they are headed. I also started wearing more watches, I love a little accessories.
 
Arkeedah:Name one beauty product that you can't leave the house without?
Madame: Mac Snob
 
Arkeedah:What is your motivation and what direction do you see what your career headed?
Madame: I was always told to follow my intuition, there I would find my pure potentiality. My mother taught me how to have faith and confidence in all that I desire. My God protects me from doubt and I make sure I never let them down when it comes to my ambitions. I am blessed to have this team that surrounds me, and I work hard with all that I do I see ultimate success. I don't care who tries to stop me or watch me.

Arkeedah:What sets you apart from other Latina singers?
Madame:I naturally hit different octaves because of my Dominican Heritage, I incorporate that with things I learned around my surroundings. I was the only Dominican wherever I went. I learned to grow without losing my roots yet I learned how to learn from everyone else that wasn't where I was from. as a youngin' I always created my own anything.  It didn't matter what I was doing, I never had someone compare some one else to me. Its a new sound that just comes to me naturally.

Arkeedah: I love your single "oh baby" do you have any gigs lined up?
