On April 21, 2011 CONVERSE Inc., unveiled two new basketball courts at Piedmont Park in midtown Atlanta, Georgia, along with Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, Atlanta City Council President Ceasar Mitchell and NBA legend Julius "Dr. J" Erving. The Converse basketball court donation, consisted of one full court and one half court, this is a part of Converse's commitment to fostering community involvement through basketball in the city of Atlanta.
