The Grand Opening of Encore Restaurant and Lounge sponsored by Nuvo and Belvedere was a star studded affair and a huge success. It kicked-off Thursday evening with the Pre-Grand Opening Reception where Encore signature cocktails and dishes were served to guests and DJ Salah Ananse was the special Guest DJ. Capital Records Recording Artist, Bobby V stopped by to support Oczavia “Byrd” Pittman, the owner of Encore. Friday evening was HBCU Alumni Happy Hour and later that night, Osei The Dark Secret hosted Caribbean night and was the featured Celebrity Bartender. Saturday was the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony and Official Grand Opening Celebration which was hosted by Encore’s owner Byrd. The Grand Opening evening attendees included Senior Editor of Sister 2 Sister Magazine, Jamie Foster Brown, Atlanta Falcons, Ovie Mughelli, and Queen of Crunk , Rasheeda. Sunday was The Finale which featured The Day Party and that evening was Comedy Night which Comedian, T.K. Kirkland headlined and Rapper, Fabolous came through as well.
