Last night Celebrity Photographer Drexina Nelson and Drexina Nelson Photography Studios presented the first annual Art Fusion fashion event. Art Fusion combined fashion, photography, fine art and entertainment into a spectacular ground-breaking night.
The vision of Art Fusion: Where Fashion Meets Art was created based on the concept of bridging the gaps between various mediums of art. Drexina Nelson Photography teamed up with lifestyle publication Uptown Magazine and Remy Marin V Cognac for a night of fashion, music and art.
Attendees experienced a high-powered runway fashion show partnered with a live photo shoot done by Drexina herself. Throughout the evening, the fashion presentation was accompanied by live music, fine art and fashion from local boutiques. The featured designers included Nicci Hou, Avnah Couture, Fly Couture and Duke & Dutchess. The musical guest was The Heather Hayes Experience, daughter of the legendary Isaac Hayes. Lifestyle Specialist Kenny Burns and BMI Executive Catherine Brewton was honored as the 2011 Man and Woman of Style.
