The mixtape, which was released January 2011, consists of an impressive array of 16 beat-thumping and infectious melodies which Collier believes are a reflection of his experiences, his appreciation for good music and expression, and his innate love for the community in which he thrives.
Collier, being a native of Atlanta, credits Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. for his passion for empowering and uplifting the youth. As a skillful vocalist, composer, music director, actor, and musician, Collier has lent his talents to dozens of musical theatre productions, workshops, and youth organizations throughout the city of Atlanta.
Not being confined to any specific “box” or niche, Sam Collier has positioned himself as a multi-dimensional artist and has worked with such R&B heavyweights as India.Arie and Tyrese Gibson, to Kirk Franklin and Byron Cage, well-known figures in gospel and praise and worship.
The concept "No Losing" was birthed from Collier's determination to win and his desire to encourage others to follow suit by adopting a “winning” way of thinking. Having a “winning mindset” is what Collier believes will change the outlook and lives of millions.
