Hotel Melia was ROCKING last night. I'm so proud to be a member of the natural hair community in Atlanta, I witnessed history Last night, CEO Tarin Boone was honored with several awards last night, she now holds the highest honor Tarin was awarded with the Phoenix Award - One of the highest honors a Georgian can receive. The Phoenix Award was designed by the Atlanta Mayor's Office for organizations and individuals who have made significant contributions to the residents of Georgia. Ms Boone is very deserving of these awards and i'm so proud of her.
After the ceremony was over we headed upstairs to the 25th Floor of the Hotel Melia and the view was AMAZING, guest enjoyed fro-tini's, Hors d'oeuvres and awesome gift bags and some of the best music. We turned the penthouse party into a house party, with a soul-train line & old school dances. Fun times
