On October 13, 2011 Derek J officially opened his new salon in the Buckhead community (360 Pharr Rd Suite 103 Atlanta, Ga ) Not only is the salon Convenient its very chic and modern, I loved the decor it was decorated with fresh flowers and fashion forward images. Derek was the perfect host and his new salon promises to be Buckhead’s new haven for beauty and trendsetting styles. Guests indulged in a wide array of luxury products from hair care giants Phyto, Miss Jessie’s and Global Keratin. Kandi Burruss, Marlo Hampton of RHOA and Chanita Foster of VH1’s Football Wives also stopped by to show Derek some love
