On November 11, 2011, The tap flowed with endless seas of colorful martinis as some of Atlanta’s most handsome sirs poured into the Georgia Freight Depot for the First Annual Gentlemen’s Ball hosted by Atlanta’s Newest Premier Production Company G. SPOT Productions .
The Gentlemen’s Ball was created to cater to a more sophisticated male palette. “This event was produced because the community has been in desperate need of social elevation and it has been past time for gentlemen to be wined, dined and serenaded said Gee Smalls and Juan Session of G. SPOT Productions.” The Gentlemen’s Ball was an exclusive black tie affair hosted by Real Housewives of Atlanta Castmate Cynthia Bailey and Atlanta Socialite Suchita Vadlamani. The evening included a three course dinner, unlimited cocktails, and special performances by sultry sounds of Chantae Cann and Glam Soul Star Princess Miranda Nicole. The guests also had an opportunity to enjoy an amazing aerial performance artist.
R&B female trio and national Recording Artists SWV capped off the night with an alluring performance. This female triple threat brought the crowd to their feet with some of their most memorable chart topping hits. The crowd sang and danced the night away.
Proceeds of The Gentlemen’s Ball benefitted Corporate Code, a non-profit organization serving the hopeless, disenfranchised male segment of society paving the way for men transitioning from unemployment, incarceration and homelessness back to life. Corporate Code offers a hand-up approach to rebuilding the foundation of disengaged men by hosting monthly seminars on issues such as: interview appropriate attire, career counseling, stress management, money management and conflict resolution.
