Hong Kong’s leading fashion-led department store, Lane Crawford, have partnered with Spanish-Czech footwear-icon Manolo Blahnik to celebrate his 40th anniversary with a special collection of archival shoes – dating back as early as 1974 – and a series of new collaborations with international luxury brands (the likes of Fortnum & Mason, century-old French glove label Causse Gantier and Italian silk scarf supremo Olmetto), all exhibited as part of an in-store installation; and accompanied with candid personal photographs of close friends such as Katherine Hepburn and the Jaggers, taken during the 70s and 80s.
