On Monday, April 9 I had the pleasure of attending an event hosted by Ford and I had the opportunity to meet the full cast of the new prime time reality series, Escape Routes at the Twelve Hotel in Atlantic Station for a candid discussion and tweet up about the new series and how Ford continues to embrace a fundamental shift in the way people communicate. Ford Motor Company is continuing to break new ground in its marketing efforts. Building off of the success of social media consumer programs like Fiesta Movement and Focus Rally: America, the creative launch of the 2013 Ford Escape through social media and network television once again gives consumers a real voice.
Ford joined together with NBC and the Emmy Award-Winning reality producer from the Amazing Race for the prime time reality TV series, Escape Routes, which premiered on NBC on March 31. The journey started in LA, then to New York, and are filming in Atlanta this week, then proceeding to Miami, San Francisco and Las Vegas. Escape Routes is another step forward for Ford in merging product into new media. The show combines the social vibrancy of the Fiesta Movement with original programming on prime-time television and features a cast of six teams of two participating in unique road-trip competitions featuring the all-new Ford Escape.
