On Friday May 11, special invited tastemakers and media joined Polow Da Don for the F.O.C.U.S. Foundation fundraising kickoff event at Do Restaurant. Special guests included Josh Powell of the Atlanta Hawks, Actress Jasmine Burke, Actor Brad James, Konsole Kingz and Celebrity Stylist Jaclyn S. Banner. Past campaign ambassadors have included Keri Hilson, Laz Alonso, Jessica White, Laurie ann Gibson, Lance Gross, Cynthia Bailey, Rashan Ali and Timothy Bloom. The mixer was the first of several fundraising efforts that will be rolled out over the next two months leading up to the culminating C4AC benefit on July 15 at Georgia Freight Depot
About the F.O.C.U.S. 4 Life Campaign:
The campaign is a global initiative that was launched to highlight cancer fighting efforts and to involve the community in a more robust capacity. The campaign consists of a viral component including social media and celebrity driven public service announcements, photo-shoots, and other fundraising events.
The campaign is comprised of (4) four core pillars Education, Prevention, Treatment, and finding a Cure and encourages the community to focus on the pillars throughout the messaging of the campaign. FoundationFocus.org
