DIY: Ombré Nails

Over the weekend, I tried the Ombre nail trend. The French word ombré means "shaded," and in the fashion world it refers to pretty much anything that starts out one color and then slowly morphs into another. Check out how I achieved the look below!

What you'll need:

Two color polishes, topcoat and a sponge. You can choose colors that compliment or go bold and pick two that clash. Experiment with different combinations and see what works.

Step 1: Using the lightest of the two colors, paint your nails and wait for it to dry completely.

Step 2: On the sponge paint the second shade at the bottom and the lightest color at the top

Step 3: Dab the sponge directly down on to your nail. Keep dabbing lightly and moving it very slightly up and down your nail.

Step 4: Add a topcoat

Step 5: Clean up all the excess polish using a brush dipped in acetone or polish remover

Then your all done!
