On August 15, 2012 I had the pleasure of attending Ford's From the Runway to Driveway Event. I can't describe how amazing this conversation was, lead by Senior Interior Designer for Ford Motor Company Anthony Prozzi and joined by Mark Edge, Founder & Chief Executive Officer, Mark Edge Jewelry, Cinda Boomershine, Founder & Chief Creative Officer, cinda b and Edmond Newton CEO and Fashion Designer, Edmond Andre
Anthony Prozzi brought to life the inspiration in the design process he explained how fashion inspires his work in the automotive industry. Prozzi began his career in fashion as a designer for Donna Karan and joined the Ford Family in 1999. Anthony shared that today’s consumers are savvier than ever before – they recognize great design and they demand it in the products they buy. Impeccable craftsmanship and smart design are essential; products must resonate with individuals, not just functionally, but emotionally as well.
