FroMe2u, the ten-year-old pioneer of create-your-own digital jewelry, reopens its online store with the launch of its Winter 2012-2013 Collection “French Trip”. The collection is a hand-made collaboration between French designer Dope Pika and Atlanta-based FroMe2u. The online store currently includes all ten pieces of FroMe2u x Dope Pika’s “French Trip” Collection with prices ranging from $27-$38, including the limited edition pieces “Monroe Gassed” ($38, only 10 made) and the “FrenchTrip Bracelet” an Aubrey’s Hands vintage metal plated bracelet with vintage and “French Trip” charms ($80, only 3 made). The “French Trip” collection is not yet available in any of the exclusive retail locations currently carrying the FroMe2u product line.
Known
for ensuring each individual’s “Style is Heard”, each piece from this collection
is bold. But the unique abstract, artistic approach drawing from the beautiful
aesthetics of France is a direct result of the collaborative design effort.
“The ‘French Trip’ collection is
at the same time classic and cool…a mixture of 17th and 21st century,”
explains France-native Dope Pika. “To create this collection, I
was inspired by the luxurious castles and places in France, specifically
"Chateau de Versailles".
FroMe2u Designer and
Co-Owner, Kyndra Donelson speaks on how she began working with Dope Pika: “We linked on Twitter when I saw
some art work she did for Megan Good and Rhianna. She interned for me for three
months. We decided to do some collabs and we have been working together
since.”
