On Saturday March 30th, I had the pleasure of attending Brittni Mealy's launch event for her New High-End Clothing Line, POPTOXIC at Club Kiss Salon and Spa. After successfully launching POP
of JUNK an eclectic accessory brand,
and Lollipopz, a children's clothing line, Brittni is now
launching POPTOXIC, an upscale clothing line with edgier, exclusive
pieces and custom designs. This collection was inspired by Brittni's personal
style and offers exclusive items and more cohesive pieces.
A year after its initial launch, Pop of Junk was fully established as
a serious force in the fashion world. Celebrities like Tip Drill, Nivea, Trina,
Blac Chyna, and the OMG Girlz were rocking Brittni's edgy pieces to award shows,
on album covers and on world-wide tours. Her accessories were also featured in
the music video "Headshots" by Gucci Mane ft. Rick Ross, and worn by Tiny and
Shekinah on "T.I. and Tiny: The Family Hustle." Magazines
like Incline and Tastemaker in addition to radio stations like
Streetz 94.5 featured Brittni as an up and coming designer in the world of
fashion.
The event was co-hosted by Posh
World and Cupcake Mafia , online boutiques that focus on bringing
women together through fashion and cupcakes, two things that girls can't go
without. Ladies who attended enjoyed cupcakes, cocktails and plenty of shopping. Check out the pictures below
