Andrea set up
Abury with the goal of providing a fair chance of competitiveness in
international markets for artisans from developing countries.  Through the
production of beautiful products for the international market Abury works to
develop the skills and traditions of local artisans. Having spent time living
in Morocco Andrea was taken by the unique and stunning products made by Berber
artisans and sadden to learn that the skills for making such products were dying
out as the younger generation was now seeking and dependent on different types
of employment.  Abury works with artisans such as these invest in those skills
as well as providing the means to carry out community-based projects such as
building wells and libraries, bringing fabulous products to new
markets.
The launch went really well with lots of guests
including the singer Sandra Amarie who selected an Adele Dejak bag.  If you are
based in Berlin or visiting anytime soon please pop by and check out the Abury
collection with Adele Dejak. https://www.abury.net/en/
