The SheaMoisture popup shop located at 321 Chartres Street in New Orleans, open during the Essence Music Festival through July 11 (11-8 daily), offers guests the opportunity to sample and purchase all SheaMoisture's award- winning, all-natural bath, body, hair, hair color, facial care, baby and men's shave and groom collections, as well as receive a complimentary massage with SheaMoisture products.
Shop guests may receive hair care consultations and demonstrations with celebrity stylist, author and SheaMoisture Educator Diane Bailey (having styled Beyoncé) and celebrity stylist Felicia Leatherwod (having styled Jill Scott and Viola Davis) . The shop has featured a series of high-profile events with bloggers, such as best-selling author Nikki Walton, founder of CurlyNikki.com, JenellStewart of KinkyCurlyCoilyMe.com and Imani Dawson of TribeCalledCurl.com and Myleik Teele, founder of CurlBox.com. The paintings of New Orleans artist Sarah Dearie are being exhibited in the shop. A number of celebrity guests, including Nicole Ari Parker, Boris Kodjoe and singer Marsha Ambrosius visited the shop. SheaMoisture's NOLA popup shop was created and designed by SheaMoisture Creative Director Jullanar Barron.
