Derek J, Momma Dee and More attend Dr. Miracle's #RX4Style Event

On July 5^th and 6^th in New Orleans, Dr. Miracle’s Hair Care joined in on the Essence Music Festival excitement by hosting its signature consumer event, The Prescription for Style (#RX4Style) Lounge at the Belloq Lounge in the Hotel Modern. With nearly 200 attendees over the two day event, women smoothed out humidity riddled hair and learned to embrace their curls in a way like never before. Stylists Craig Carter, Lena Pinkston, Mahogany and Ed XX worked the lounge providing on site styling and product education while celebrity guests mingled with the crowed and added to the opulence of the New Orleans themed event.

A myriad of hair bloggers joined the festivities in the Blogger’s Corner powered by Naturally Happy Hair Magazine as they worked with magazine founders Crystal Knight and Chimere Norris kept the social mediaverse in the loop of the event’s progress utilizing the hash tag #RX4Style.

Soul singer Honey LaRochelle graced the audience with one of a kind performances throughout the event and special guests included celebrity hairstylist and BRAVOlebrity Derek J, the cast of the Style Network’s Big Rich Atlanta, (Sharlinda, Brie, Khadijah and Lil’ Q Parker), Momma Dee and Karlie Red of VH1’s Love and Hip Hop Atlanta, Danger of VH1’s Flavor of Love, Reality show newcomers and celebrity barbers Sam Sneed and Z The Great of Strictly Skillz and best selling author’s Caroline Jhingory (Half My Size) and Bella Jones (Memoirs of a Trapstar’s Wife).
