Secret Garden Spring Fashion Show at Macy's Lenox Square Mall

Macy's is welcoming spring in a big way on Friday March 21, 2014 I had the pleasure of attending the Spring Essentials Fashion Show at Macy's at Lenox Square Mall it was hosted by the fabulous Christopher Macken. Guests who attended previewed the season's most sought after trends while enjoying refreshments courtesy of Sparkling Ice, Sweets, Dior Station, Live DJ and more.

Macy's three key trends for Spring fashion: 

Moto-Trend: The motorcycle jacket, aka "the moto". The sporty layering pieces get edgier for spring with adventurously colorful prints, luxe textures and fabrics, and sporty-cool detailing.

Lace: You have to be careful here—lace can get cheap-looking quickly. Choose high-quality material, and pair vibrant hues with shoes in the same color family or in a metallic.

Floral: Floral prints for spring 2014 go from super-subtle, to super-brassy, appearing modern while looking back at the nineties, clashing with other prints but always emerging as one perfectly polished conjunction.
