Mizani Celebrity Artist, Cesar Ramirez styles Jennifer Hudson with an 'Edgy Cropped Do' for the 2014 BET Awards

Short cropped hairstyles are popping up everywhere this season. Especially with the weather getting hotter, chopping off your locks is no big thing. This look is in a constant state of transition between soft and feminine to strong and edgy.

To get Academy and Grammy Award winner Jennifer Hudson performance ready, Mizani Celebrity Artist, Cesar Ramirez used MIZANI hair products to create her “Edgy Crop” hairstyle for her 2014 BET Awards performance.

The inspiration for this look comes from her new image. “She's been embracing this inner tomboy chic,” says Ramirez. “She's really loving the fact that she feels sexy with this masculine boy cut. It's also reminiscent of a cut Demi Moore did back in the 90s which we both love.”
