About “Oprah’s The Life You Want Weekend”
On Friday evening, Oprah will take to the stage to share her
personal story, speaking of the things that have happened to her throughout her
life in ways you’ve never heard them before. She’ll talk openly and candidly
about her “calling” and her place in the world, how she finds empowerment where
others might find failure, and why she never stops working at fulfilling her
life’s purpose. She will share how she came to accept herself as she is, and
why it is important that she live her “best possible life” in everything she
does. You will experience an intimate evening with the woman the world fell in
love with during 25 years of the “Oprah” show and who founded OWN: Oprah Winfrey
Network.
On Saturday, Oprah’s hand-selected Trailblazers will fill
Philips Arena with hope and inspiration, as they lead the audience into the
light of discovering their life’s purpose and tapping into the inner courage
needed to fulfill that purpose. Deepak Chopra, along with best-selling
authors Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love), Rob Bell (Love Wins
and What We Talk About When We Talk About God) and Iyanla
Vanzant (Forgiveness: 21 Days to Forgive Everyone for Everything), whose
weekly OWN series “Iyanla: Fix My Life” is one of the network’s most popular,
will share their tools for transformational living. It will be a full day of
uplifting and inspired life-changing interaction as these great creative and
spiritual minds share how to find joy in the smallest moments of each and every
day, exercise the power of forgiveness, how to discover and obtain what matters
most in your life, and so much more.
Also on Saturday, paralympian and “Dancing With the Stars”
finalist Amy Purdy will take the stage to acknowledge one of Georgia’s
most amazing women with the Toyota Standing O-Vation, in celebration and
recognition of this woman’s incredible spirit, kindness and
generosity.
I'm experiencing a difficult time at the moment and the opportunity to be in the same space with positivity would be a dream.
ReplyDeleteWith all that I have gone through these past 2 years and continue to go through, you need all the advice and surround yourself in the moment of like minded people and who wouldn't want to be in the same place as Oprah!! If I had the chance to win, I would take my mom. This will be a small stepping stone to build our foundation back as mother and daughter bond
ReplyDeleteI'd like to attend The Life You Want tour so that I can receive what I believe will be vital information on how to unlock doors to my future. Not just a future, but a future that I want. I agree that having guidance spiritually and naturally are keys to great successes in life. Oprah does a great job with helping others position themselves so that this happens, by having access to the necessary tools. I believe that the tour is one of those tools.
ReplyDeleteIt's been a life dream of mine to meet Oprah. I went to school to study journalism, started my blog and followed a passion to help others all because of Oprah - all because I saw a black woman do it. I can't put into words how much of an impact she has had in my life, and to meet her - to be in her presence - would really bring things full circle for me! Of course, I have my struggles just as everyone else does, but I've always remained optimistic and pressed forward. That's something I learned from my momma, who says she learned that from Oprah :).
ReplyDeleteI would love to attend because Oprah has been an inspiration to me. I admire her work ethic and her willingness to take risks in order to remain a dominate force in the entertainment industry.
