Alon Livné’s Spring 2015 collection was inspired by the post modern architecture of Michael Havemeyer and underwater creatures. The collection featured his signature sculptural techniques, playing with neoprene and chiffon in shades of lavender, grey, black and silver.
Lead manicurist Holly Falcone for KISS Products, Inc. played off the architectural designs of the collection and futuristic feel, creating a pointed almond shape nail with a glittered silver tip and thin white line.
“Lines and shapes will definitely be a huge trend to watch for spring 2015,” says Falcone.
Holly Falcone’s step-by-step on how-to create the look:
•Select the correct size imPRESS medium length nail to fit each nail and set aside in order
•Prep nails with the prep pad to remove all oils and lightly buff around the cuticles
•File nails, tapering to a point at the tip to create the desired pointed almond shape
•Paint over the white French tip on the imPRESS nail with the KISS Nail Artist Paint in silver, leaving a thin white line at
•Finish with KISS quick dry top coat and all to dry
