SCAD presented the third annual aTVfest, drawing in the global talents of producers, directors, writers and actors to SCAD venues in Atlanta’s thriving midtown. The festival celebrates preeminent television and media productions from Thursday, Feb. 5 through Saturday, Feb. 7.
On Saturday, Feb. 7th I had the opportunity to attend SCAD 3rd Annual aTVfest where Terrence Howard received the Spotlight Award and the students from “How To Get Away With Murder” received the Rising Star Award. SCAD hosted the following premiere screenings and panels covering iconic television comedies, dramas and animation features including FOX’s “Empire,” FOX’s “The Following,” HBO’s “Girls,” ABC’s “How To Get Away With Murder,” FOX’s “The Mindy Project.” Panels included Reality TV, Press Roundtable, Nickelodeon, Casting Directors and Atlanta Management & Casting.
