Zac Zac Posen RTW Fall 2015
Zac Posen envisioned his fall contemporary collection through a Sixties Space Age lens, seen in the lineup’s abbreviated hemlines, circular proportions and celestial-inspired prints and textures. Sleek fabrications such as a blue stretch-velvet halter gown and metallic foiled-leather separates further evoked the collection’s Mod spirit.
Elsewhere, a hot-pink dahlia print added a more traditional femininity to Posen’s intarsia knitwear and silk-chiffon looks for evening. The expanding collection has added an outerwear license, and the season’s inaugural range included lamb shearling, tweed and boiled wool coats, some with chic ombré effects.
