Christian Louboutin has announced the launch of his lipstick line that will be available this September on ChristianLouboutin.com.
After debuting a nail polish collection last year, the luxury shoe
designer is continuing to make moves as he expands his namesake brand. During Saks Fifth Avenue beauty week last year I had the opportunity to try out the nail polish and even though I was very impressed (it lasted for a full week without chipping) i'm so frugal I couldn't justify paying $50.00 for NAIL POLISH! I feel the same way about the lipstick because its $90.00
The lipstick, while pricey, is multifunctional. The cap has a ring
at the top, and by threading a ribbon through it, you can instantly
transform your lipstick into a necklace.
There are 38 shades in the line with names including "Petal Rose," "You You," and "Diva," and there are three different textures: Silky Satin, Velvet Matte, and Sheer Voile.
