Fogo de Chão is back at it with new menu items perfect for the summer season. On Wednesday May 22 I had the pleasure to visit the Atlanta location to check out the latest additions that include Grilled Pork Belly & Pineapple and Queijo Assado (a Brazilian-style cheese that, when grilled, becomes crispy on the outside, yet warm and melted on the inside, and finished with spicy malagueta honey pictured above). Both of these delicious new items are available as part of the Full Churrasco Experience.
To help you stay cool and beat the heat this summer, Fogo also introduced new Market Table additions, including a Watermelon Feta Salad (juicy watermelon tossed with feta cheese, summer basil, fresh mint, and black pepper) and Tomato Mozzarella Salad (ripe tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil and Buffalo milk mozzarella).
You can also look forward to quenching your thirst this summer with the Watermelon Fresca Cocktail (non-alcoholic). Made with ripe watermelon, lime and ice, this refreshing mocktail is a season addition to Fogo’s non-alcoholic beverage lineup, which includes fan favorites like the Grapefruit Elderflower Spritz and Pineapple Mint Lemonade.
The Queijo Assado was some of the best cheese I have ever had the Grilled Pork Belly & Pineapple simply magical the Pineapple mint lemonade was so refreshing and perfect for these hot summer Atlanta days. Make sure you stop by and check it out!
